Identifying Points For God’s Church.

Revelation 12:6, 14-16, “And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.”

1. Not exist officially as an organization between A.D. 538 to 1798. It will appear and do its visible work after it emerges from the wilderness in 1798. See Annex C to understand the 1260 year prophecy about the Antichrist system and the study on the Antichrist. 

 

Revelation 12:17, “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”

2. It would believe the original teachings of the Christian church - the remnant.

3. It will keep God’s commandments - which includes the fourth commandment about the Sabbath.

4. Satan is wroth with the church - this church will be ridiculed, marginalized, and finally persecuted.

 

Revelation 14:6, “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people…”

5. It would be a worldwide missionary church - a global movement.

6. Teaches and proclaims the Three Angel’s Messages.

7. It would proclaim the everlasting gospel = Good news, salvation, choice, conversion, not by works. 

8. Fear God = Reverence, awe and respect to God; obedience out of love.

9. Give glory to Him = Teaches the health message, 1 Corinthians 10:31; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. It also refers to having the character of God since God’s glory refers to His character, so our character is to reflect the glory of Jesus through our good works, actions and behavior (Exodus 33:18-23; 34:5-7). 

10. The hour of His judgment has come = Believes in the investigative judgment, millennial judgment, and final judgment and the sanctuary message.

11. Verse 7, Worship the Creator = Teaches creation instead of evolution; observes Sabbath.

12. Verses 9-11, Teaches the truth about worshipping the beast or receiving the mark of the beast and the great controversy between good and evil.

13. Verse 13, It will teach that death is a peaceful rest that lasts until the resurrection.

14. It will have the gift of prophecy. Testimony of Jesus Christ - see Revelation 19:10; Revelation 22:9; Isaiah 8:16, 20.

 

Does your church meet all fourteen of these specifications of God’s end time church? If not, what church does? It is the Seventh-day Adventist Church that meets all 14 of these end time remnant church specifications as outlined in the Bible. Some examples are:

1. The Seventh-day Adventist Church was officially established in 1863.

2. The Seventh-day Adventist Church keeps the commandments of God which includes worshipping on the true Sabbath which is Saturday - the seventh day of the week.

3. The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a world-wide church which is in 212 of 235 countries in the world and that was in 2021 - almost 91%; more than 21 million members and adding around a million a year through baptism).

4. No other church proclaims the Three Angels Messages of Revelation 14 except the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
