Notes on the Book of Revelation
As you read the notes, remember that it was not intended to be read in order like a novel (although you can and there’s nothing wrong with that). These notes are intended to be a resource to be used during personal or group study, teaching or while witnessing to others.
Since this is intended as a resource, there are some repetitive comments and explanations within the document to make it easier to understand what you are reading in that section of the notes. For instance, there are multiple mentions of the wrath of God in the book of Revelation, so the same definition or a slight variation of the definition is given in each of those locations. The repetition within the document is by design.
There are end notes and parenthetical references. I am in the process of making all references into end notes. The website host I'm using doesn't recognize superscript numbers that I am using for the end notes. So temporarily I have shrunk the end note numbers and made them red to make the document easier to read.
This is a work in process and I am making changes to my personal notes on Revelation on a semi-regular basis. I will attempt to update the notes here on the website as frequently as possible.
There are references to other studies that may not be posted as of yet, but I'm working on that as well. When posted, they will be on the main Bible Study page.
Unless otherwise noted, all Bible references are from the King James Version.
May God bless you in your personal study of the book of Revelation and I pray that these notes are a benefit to you. Enjoy!
Update on February 21, 2024 (primarily to chapter 18).
