Many new Christians, and even longtime Christians, have difficulty accepting the bible as being true and accurate when considering the differences between creation and evolution.
Unfortunately, many of them leave the Christian faith or compromise their beliefs to accommodate evolution (millions of years). Many believe evolution to be fact and creation to be non-scientific and just a bunch of made up stories. That’s not the case at all, and in fact, it is the complete opposite that is true.
There is no true evidence for macro-evolution, meaning the changing of one species to another species. Or in other words, a change from one type of animal to another type of animal, for instance a dog changing into a cat or a monkey changing into a human.
The bible says that all living things were created into kinds. In Genesis 1:21 it says, “…God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind.”
Also in Genesis 1:24 it says, “Then God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind…”
Now there is plenty of evidence for micro-evolution, and that’s changes within a kind or within a species. For instance, the numerous and observable differences in cats and in dogs and even in humans with hair color, size, skin color, and eye color. But all of those changes are within a kind or species, there is no evidence of a kind or species changing into another type of kind or species, which is in complete harmony with what the bible says about creation of kinds.

I’ll post three of the videos here that specifically deal with the unscientific faith that is required to believe in evolution, but the entire series is great and will strengthen your faith in the reliability and accurateness of the bible account of creation as being the truth. Mr. Veith does a great job of providing scientific reasons for believing in the biblical account of creation.
