We recently came across a wonderful book that all Christians should read to understand the one true gospel. In our opinion, it should be mandatory reading for all new Christians! That’s how impressed we were with this book.
Here’s what the back of the book says, “You’ve already noticed the title of this book: Face to Face With the Real Gospel. Real gospel? Wouldn’t that imply a false gospel—a counterfeit? If the gospel is the good news of how God saves us, it should only be expected that the great enemy, Satan, would do all he could to create a counterfeit. And so he has—and does. The book is short and easy to read. You don’t have to be a theologian or advanced Bible student to understand the concepts in this book. But, if you don’t like to read, you can watch his online sermons which covers everything in the book.
He has several sermons that cover the main topics within this book, the definition of sin, the nature of Christ, Justification and Sanctification, and biblical perfection. We’ll post one video here, but you can watch several others that are already posted on our Bible Study page.

Understanding the one true gospel as taught by the apostles has been eye opening and has greatly improved our personal Bible study. Understanding the truth has opened up many verses in the Bible that used to be vague or confusing, but armed with the truth those same verses have now come alive and make sense.
